About the Role:
At Alico, we don’t believe in throwing human hours at tasks a machine can do. Our secure automation handles routine status pulls and initial routing, which means our Execution Specialists focus entirely on what matters: high-level problem solving. We are seeking an RCM professional to manage our complex denial exceptions, build defensible clinical appeals, and identify root-cause trends to prevent future revenue leakage.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
- Manage a highly targeted daily worklist of complex, high-dollar denials and stalled accounts.
- Build evidence-first appeal packets strictly aligned with clinical documentation, medical necessity, and payer-specific policies.
- Analyze payer behavior and reason codes to identify recurring denial trends.
- Collaborate with the Performance Office to implement upstream fixes that eliminate repeat denial drivers.
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years of enterprise RCM experience specifically focused on complex denials and clinical appeals.
- Deep fluency in navigating payer portals, reading claim edits, and understanding timely filing rules.
- An operator who values clean execution, clear ownership, and measurable closure over simple "task volume."
